  • Krishna Nath Pandey,Ph.D.

    President

    He is the president of World e University, popularly known by his nickname - Polymath Pandey. He is an author, academician and facilitator for learning with the experience of 42 years in the corporate world as a C- Suite Executive. He had functioned as Dean in a University for many Schools having a Foundation in serving the Government of India besides the Government of Delhi in various capacities. He had started his career as a lecturer in English at Tribhuvan University, Nepal under UN Aid Scheme.
    Krishna Nath has written nine books in the domains of management, engineering, social sciences and literature. He has 21 Research Papers, published in various journals globally. He has got wide experience of consulting in strategic managements. Five Ph.D.’s have been awarded in management under his supervision. He has made a hat-trick at graduation in the domains of literature, language and linguistics. He had functioned as a member of the Wage Revision Committee (Pay Commission) of the Government of Delhi Currently, he is working on the humanization of big data.
    Krishna is a passionate teacher and researcher which made him a globetrotter and took him to places like Tokyo, Rome, Dubai along with his notoriously longer sojourns in the USA. He has successfully guided five outstanding scholars to realize their dream of Ph. D. in the area of business administration. His magnum opus happens to be ‘Paradigms of Knowledge Management with Systems Modelling Case Studies in studies in Systems, Decision and Control [Vol. 60].’
    Krishna is an addict of answering questions on Quora and these have been viewed by 2.2 million people and counting. His answers have also been sent to the digest of more than 8.4 million viewers by Quora.

    Some of his answers have been shared by Brett Elkins in the Harvard, MIT and Ivy League Spaces.

  • Mitu Mata, Ph.D.

    Provost

    She was Associate Dean (student’s welfare) and Associate Professor at Lingaya’s University, Faridabad having a rich academic and research experience of 17 years. On the research front, she has to her credit; several research publications in International and National journals of repute with good Impact factors. She has contributed immensely through paper presentations and participations at the International and National Conferences and has chaired technical sessions at conferences and case presentations. She has been a Ph.D. guide to scholars from Banasthali University- Jaipur, Thapar University- Patiala and YMCA- Faridabad. To date, 10 Ph.D. scholars have been awarded degrees under her supervision in Marketing and HR.

    Mitu Matta is the founder of Statlysis, a research and consulting organization.

  • Irfan-ur-Rahman Kidwai

    Director (International Collaboration)

    He started his career in 1975 with Engineers (India) Ltd (EPI). He belongs to a renowned Kidwai family of Awadh and his ancestors had participated in the freedom movement and served India in various senior positions in the bureaucracy. He has widely traveled to various countries such as European countries, Canada, England, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc.
    He is an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University and influenced many young professionals in NTPC and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. from where he demitted his office as Executive Director (HR). He is known in the circles of power as a doyen of wit and humor which was pivotal in involving him in various capacities in the corporate world. His perennial personality has been still in use as an expert for selecting the C- Suite executives.

  • Sanjeev Verma

    Director(Systems)

    He is a trainer and academician. He has more than 25 years of experience in industry and academics. His areas of training are Task Management, collaboration processes between team members and analytics. He has a knack of laying the system for institutions of higher education.
    He is a gold medalist in Master of Business Administration from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is a certified business analyst from IIT, Mumbai.

  • Bharat Bhushan Sharma

    Director(People)

    He has served as Director (Academic) in Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India. He was elevated to the post of Director (Academic) due to his academic bent of mind & disciplined approach. He had served in Indian Air Force in a very responsible position for a decade followed by a stint of about 31 years in IGNCA, Min of Culture. Has also served in a very senior position in Power sector PSU of Delhi Govt besides serving in Slum & JJ wing of MCD as Director & Collector (A Statutory position). He possesses about 41 years of the unique experience of serving in Armed Forces, PSUs, State Govt, Govt. of India dealing with administrative & academic matters. Presently he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Management post the Course Work and he is almost through to the thesis defence.

  • Dabbeeru Neelakanteswar Rao, Ph.D.

    Chairperson (Engineering and Technology)

    Prof. Rao completed his B.Tech of five years and started his career as an Engineer. By now he is an accomplished teacher, researcher, management thinker, proven academic administrator and is driven by vision to raise the academic standards of higher education. He has over 36 years of diverse experience in teaching, research, management consulting, academic administration and industry experience. He was associated with several reputed institutes in India and abroad. The institutes he was associated with are: Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi; Delhi Centre for Management Education, All India Management Association, New Delhi; Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) besides his managerial acumen being an MBA.
    Prior to joining W e U, he was Chief Executive Officer of Venkateshwara Group of Institutions, Meerut, UP, prior to this he was, Vice Chancellor of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, Faridabad (a Deemed to be University); President (Vice Chancellor) of Career Point University, Kota; President (Vice Chancellor) of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur; Chief Executive Officer, University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur; President, Kings University, Ghana.
    During his 12 years of International experience, he was associated with Bahrain Training Institute, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, State of Bahrain; Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, Kings University, Accra, Ghana; Institute of Technological Studies, Colombo, Sri Lanka. He was associated with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as Senior Vice President and Head of Domain Training, Senior Financial Analyst, Centre for Consulting in Finance and Investment, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During his long span of professional career, he held senior academic and corporate leadership positions like Dean, Director, President and Vice Chancellor.
    Prof. Rao was the recipient of prestigious fellowships of Canadian International Development Agency (1990) and Asian Productivity Organisation, Tokyo (1996). His current areas of teaching and research are Strategic Management, Mutual Funds, Investment & Portfolio Management and Economic Research.
    He has presented and published over 62 research articles in National and International Conferences & Journals. His Global Author Rank in the US based Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN) is 795 out of 4,29,861 (within top 1% of Global authors). His research papers have over 29,316 total downloads and over 134,938 total abstract reviews.

  • Shyam Lal Gupta, Ph.D.

    Chairperson (Business Studies)

    He has vast academic experience in teaching, research and University administration. He had served in various organizations including Government College and private universities. He likes teaching Accountancy, Goods and Services Tax and Income tax related subjects to post-graduate and undergraduate students. He has also mentored several faculty members for dedicated teaching with measurable outcomes. He has supervised Doctoral students successfully. He has dozens of research papers and books published to his credit by reputed journals/publishers. He is always committed to high-quality teaching and research in the higher education space. He enjoys debating most on various economical and financial aspects of the Political economy of India.

    His interest lies in the standardization of best practices as he had established Research cells.

  • Omana Antony, Ph.D.

    Chairperson (Humanities & Social Sciences)

    Omana Antony has 34 years of academic experience starting from 1987 in various institutions and various positions. Her latest assignment was Dean, School of Humanities, K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Delhi NCR prior to joining W e U. Antony has designed three modules of the MHRD sponsored by the ‘UGC e-Pathshala Module designing project-2016’. She has organized four international conferences sponsored by ICSSR and one National conference as Convener. She has edited eight books and is also on the Editorial Board of The Golden Vibes, an International Journal. Her areas of interest are Communication Skill Development besides Student Counselling, Personality Development. Organizing both, the Curricular and Extra-Curricular Programs; and conducting Social Service activities for students. Her area of specialization lies in American Literature and the Literature written in English by Indians.

  • Sonia Yadav

    Director (F.A.)

    She has got a personality of multitasking in the domains of homemaking and grooming her daughter and son to attain a global persona. In her right earnest, she facilitated the graduation of her daughter in Boston and her son as a medical practitioner. Her F.A. and practical experience brought her to World e University where she is heading the functions of financing to enable World e University to soar to the greater heights.

  • Booma Sreenivasan, M.Phil.

    Director (Iindoligy and Vernacular Studies)

    She has mother tongue perfection in four languages i.e. Tamil, Hindi, Marathi and English. Her sojourn in various parts of India has resulted in making Booma a multilingual person with an enriched understanding of India’s pluricultural and varied linguistic genre fructifying her symbiotic persona as manifested in her metamorphosis into a true Indian.
    Her prowess in understanding the ‘Indianness’ made her to undertake her research leading to an M. Phil in Hindi, the lingua franca of the Indian Union. She is Walking library in Indology. Not only this, She has also developed a sharp comprehension of the dialects of the languages and their entailed variation which is the flowerbed of Booma for facilitating the vernacular studies.

  • Meenakshi Davar, Ph.D.

    Chairperson (Academics)

    She started her career as a Personnel Officer in National Thermal Power Corporation after completing her Master of Science and getting selected through All India Competition. Having served there, she accumulated sufficient Human Capital and moved to Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Subsequently, she attended the University of Hull, U.K. for completing her MBA.
    Her continuance in Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd gave her an opportunity to influence the entire HR team across India, Africa and other countries in South Asia. She had been conferred various awards in many areas, especially for training and empowerment of women being a female executive herself. The evolution of her academic pursuits leading to Ph.D. was an onerous task while she was still serving as a C- Suite executive. The zenith of her career has been the Presidential Appointee as CHRO in Power System Corporation of India. She is the true embodiment of the commingling of ‘Practitioner and Academician’. She is a certified trainer of Stephen R. Covey Institute. No wonder! she has joined W e U as a Chairperson to oversee the academic blossoming of the first Platform based University of 21st Century in the World.

  • Ajoy, Ph.D.

    Chairperson (Physical Sciences)

    He envisages his role in W e U as someone who looks at the Physical science which is just Observation + Experimentation + Verification, trying to look at nature with this lens of OEV. As he quotes Einstein, “God is both the garden and the gardener”. He perceives Science as just the philosophy standing on its head/upside down. Quantum science is just proving this. He had completed his Ph.D. in solid state physics and had worked as a lecturer at Tribhuvan University, Nepal for 15 years. He has published many papers in national, international journals and newspapers as well.
    Though he is a firm believer in the Darwinian theory of evolution, he found that the competition comes along with the cooperation in nature. Empathy and compassion are the two pillars who have been guiding him throughout ups and downs of his life. He had been bestowed with the NTSE scholarship throughout his schooling days.
    Ajoy also worked as a coordinator at Banaras Hindu University for Nepal. Professor Richard Feynman had been his best teacher who was always working to promote critical thinking, scientific temper and emotional intelligence in the academic sphere. He is also the Chairman of Trust SEVA, a project run and managed by SEVA i.e. PRAYAS and got citation and felicitation from the then His Excellency the President and Honourable Prime minister of India in the year 2012.
    Presently, he is also engaged as a Global head for the Business Development, a joint venture between FIIST and IIT Madras.

  • ASHA RANI, Ph.D.

    She has been a practitioner in the field of andragogy by ushering in andon in the field of teaching, research and consulting since 2010. As an adept individual, she had brought her personality traits into practice for the enhancement of effectivity in teaching beyond the tertiary level. Her zeal reached the zenith to devise novel techniques in developing rapport with the learners to reduce the impact of Covid-19. In W e U, she has been devising the courses on sustainability, climate change and carbon trading.

  • Mojahid-ul-Islam, Ph.D.

    Chairperson (Life Sciences)

    He is out and out a researcher in the field of saving lives through pooling in the chemists and druggists. His research areas include synthesizing and characterizing novel heterocyclic ring containing drugs, usefulness for the treatment of different diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV, viral infection, and cancer. Mojahid specializes to work on Pyridazinone, Pyrimidine, Triazole & Oxadiazole ring and synthesized novel potent antimicrobial drugs. Synthesized drugs to be evaluated for antibacterial, antifungal. anti-tubercular is his forte besides Anti HIV and antiviral activity.
    He is a doyen in using aided drug design (CADD) to find out the synthesized compound activity for further research [Likely to come forward for onboarding].

  • Jemima Mercy Ravada, Ph.D.

    Jemima Mercy Ravada is a certified English Language, Voice & Accent & Soft Skills Trainer and has successfully trained scores of Undergraduate, Post-Graduate students and Professionals for more than 15 years. She hails from the coastal region of Southern India and has widely travelled around the country. She has recognized the significance of the English language and Behavioural Skills in Job Placements with the potential for global opportunities. She found her calling in the field of training the trainers in English language and ever since. She has been striving to help the non-native speakers through various interactive training sessions.
